No joke, the Fiery Hot Chilli Powder Set is only for those that are crazy about food that hurts you and makes you cry! Add a colossal smash of fiery heat to your foods, but do check that everyone eating the meal can handle it! Take care when using, as they can irritate if you breathe the powder in.
Ghost Pepper Chilli Powder – The big one…. 1,000,000 on the Scoville heat scale (a Jalapeno is 5,000 or so). This stuff is potent and incredibly hot, one of the hottest chilli powders you can find.
Superhot Chilli Powder – A blend of very hot peppers, so we don’t really have an accurate heat level, but it isn’t as hot as the Ghost Pepper, but definitely hotter than Habanero. Blended for flavour and enormous heat.
Habanero Chilli Powder – At about 350,000 Scovilles, this is a very hot ingredient to add to dishes. It also has a fruity flavour which goes well with many cuisines, just don’t add too much.
The heat from chillies is a subjective thing we find; what some may find too hot, others might find tame. Therefore, you should go easy on chillies, chilli powders and blends with chilli powders in them to find the heat level you like. If you are tasting as you go, you can always add a little more if you need to, but taking heat out is difficult if not impossible.
