The Tex-Mex Favourites Set gives you what you need to make 3 very popular dishes in Britain today. A fusion of Texas and Mexico, the dishes combine the flavours of both to make very appealing foods. With just a few ingredients and one of these blends, you’re well on your way to a treat!
Chilli Con Carne Spice Blend (No Salt) – A mix of authentic Mexican chilli powders, herbs and other ingredients that give foods and amazingly aromatic taste. Add salt as you need toward the end of cooking, tasting as you go to get it perfect.
Taco Seasoning – Who doesn’t love a taco?! A firm favourite at dinner time across the country, this mix will give your taco fillings a delicious, moreish flavour.
Fajita Seasoning – A great mix to give fajitas a lot of flavour, or indeed whatever you want to do with it. Makes a great rub or marinade for barbeques, too!
The heat from chillies is a subjective thing we find; what some may find too hot, others might find tame. Therefore, you should go easy on chillies, chilli powders and blends with chilli powders in them to find the heat level you like. If you are tasting as you go, you can always add a little more if you need to. Taking heat out is difficult if not impossible.
