Brets Camembert Crisps are a seriously tasty snack with flavours of the distinctive French cheese. Of course, if anyone can recreate the taste of camembert in a crisp, it’d be the French – and they’ve done a great job! The strength of flavour is perfect, not too weak and not overpowering. Unfortunately, this makes them extremely moreish, wanting to experience that taste over and over. Don’t be surprised if you polish off the whole bag in one or two sittings! Brets are a French company from Brittany, creating excellent crisps in as ethically and responsible way as possible. They choose to use farmers from the local region, so no potato travels further than 170km from farm to factory. Great for the planet and it ensures you’re getting a real taste of Brittany! They also ensure full traceability of their potatoes and you’ll find the farmers name on each pack. Brets recycle as much as they possibly can, with peelings going into animal feed and a private water treatment system means they can use their waste water to irrigate fields. They also have a methanzier to reduce their carbon footprint and generate 20% of their own energy needs! Brets are also really passionate about their flavours and you can really taste that.
