Affliction – 9 Million Scoville Chilli Extract – 15g

Affliction Chilli Extract is by a long way the hottest product we have at The Spice Cupboard. HPLC tests place this product at 9,200,000 Scovilles, an insane level of heat! By comparison, the hottest chilli pepper in the world is the Carolina Reaper at 2.2 million. As you might expect, you only need the tiniest amount to add a great deal of heat to foods.

Now for the warnings! Affliction is an extreme product. It is very difficult to clean off of cutlery and utensils, so use a cocktail stick or wooden stirrer to take a little out, then dispose of it carefully afterwards. Affliction is a paste at room temperature and it is STRONGLY suggested you leave it as such. It is much easier to work with because you can’t spill or splash it. If you choose to warm it up into a liquid and then spill it…. your nightmares will have just begun!
