Campfire Salted Caramel takes the ever popular salted caramel and adds a smoky note with great quality Halen Môn Ingredients. With a touch of Oak Smoked Water and Oak Smoked Sea salt, it is transformed into a wonderous, deliciously moreish sauce. We’re a great fan of serving this with ice cream as a treat, but there is so much more you can do with it!
Campfire Salted Caramel will enhance any dessert you use it with. Incorporate into or serve on top of a cheesecake, add to chocolate brownies to create pockets of warm caramel make a banoffee pie even more delicious. Sweeten your morning porridge with a spoonful, or serve with shortbread. Honestly, we’re sure you’ll just head to the fridge for a spoonful on its own now and then! One thing to be aware of with Campfire Salted Caramel is that there are no preservatives in it. This is great, but it does mean the shelf life is 1 week after opening. A small family will easily polish it off in this time (or a single person being indulgent!). Sauce may separate, which is normal. Just give it a stir.
Halen Mon produce their sea salt in Anglesey, Wales using hand harvesting techniques. From a salt discovered in a saucepan left to boil dry, it is now one of the worlds most premium salts. It was on the table at the London 2012 Olympics and is part of the menu at the Fat Duck restaurant. Other Halen Mon products we have are Black Garlic Ketchup, Salted Honey Butter and Salted Caramel Spread.
