Wasabi Powder from The Wasabi Company – 23g

Wasabi Powder is a blend of English Wasabi (20%), Horseradish and Oriental Mustard. Its has a higher concentration of wasabi than many other products, which usually come in at 10% or less. Sometimes products that claim to be wasabi actually have none in them at all! This is a fantastic product and ideal if you love Japanese flavours or the burn of the horseradish and mustard family! Mix into dishes or make up a wasabi paste with 1 part water to 1 part powder. Leave for 3 to 5 minutes to allow flavours to develop and serve. Serve with Japanese dishes or anything else you think it will go with.

The Wasabi Company grow their wasabi in flowing water from their Dorset and Hampshire farms. This mimics the conditions in Japan where the plant grows naturally. Wherever it grows, wasabi takes a long time to get to harvest – often 2 years or more! We’re proud to be working with the Wasabi Company, who are very dedicated to their plants and products!
