Old Ale Cranberry Sauce is GingerBeard’s take on the classic Christmas condiment. Another collaboration project, it uses Old Freddy Walker beer from The Moor Beer company. This adds some deep and rich flavours to the tart cranberries that will bring something new to a turkey roast!
Old Ale Cranberry Sauce is, of course, perfect for Christmas dinner if you’re having turkey. That’s not to say you can’t serve it with other meats too, if that’s what you like to do! You could also try some in a burger or bring some extra flavours to a bacon and brie toastie. It goes great with most poultry meats with its sweet and sharp flavour. GingerBeard’s Preserves was started in a small basement flat in Bristol in 2014, making delicious preserves and sauces. Today, everything is still hand made and at 200,000 units a year, they’re pretty busy! They produce their take on classics, their own unique concoctions and also collaborate with many top food producers.
