Professor Phardtpounder’s Colon Cleaner – 170ml

Professor Phardtpounder’s Colon Cleaner is a sauce that may well have a hilarious name, but don’t let that fool you! The sauce in the bottle is actually really good and acclaimed by many chilli heads, so not just a novelty item. It is primarily a Bajan style Caribbean hot sauce and it even comes in a bottle that looks like a rum bottle. This sauce is a mustard sauce primarily, but it leans a little toward curry thanks to the turmeric. Scotch Bonnets and habanero chillies bring the heat, but it is not out of control – some put this at around a 7/10 for heat, so be sure to try it before dousing your food in it. We’re not sure on the effectiveness this “Elixir of Capsaicin Extremus” for cleaning the colon, but we do know that it tastes great!

Professor Phardtpounder’s Colon Cleaner, as a hot mustard sauce, is perfect for use with many foods. Jazz up cold cuts of meat either as part of a buffet or in a sandwich for instant flavour and spice. Try some in a burger or with some chicken (fried or otherwise). We find eggs always work well with mustard sauces and this is no exception. Then there’s sausage and mustard – a match made in heaven! There is so much you can do with this sauce and if you love mustard, you have to try it!

Colon Cleaner has its roots in St Michael, Barbados, where it was first created. Sauce Crafters now make this sauce in the USA, along with many other great condiments.
