Starting with onions as a base, the flavours of garlic and green chilli come in and this all sits on a backdrop of Caribbean Curry powder. This contains distinctive notes of allspice and Scotch bonnet, which really drive those flavours home. Heat level is hot, with an estimation of Scoville units being around 29,000 – 70,000.
