Serrabanero Green Hot Sauce is a fresh and zesty sauce that will bring a tangy spiciness to your foods. The name is a portmanteau (check out the big brain on Brett!) of the chilles the sauce uses – serrano and habanero. By using them when they are green, they bring the charateristic flavour to the sauce, alongside the green tomato. Further complexity comes from the onion, garlic and coriander and it all sits on a base of apple cider vinegar. Heat may be a little hotter than you may expect from a green sauce, but it is a welcome heat that won’t scorch the palate!
Serrabanero Green Hot Sauce is pretty versatile, if you’re a fan of fresh, herby and zesty sauces. Try it with tacos, enchiladas and other Tex Mex foods to add flavour and heat. Add to egg dishes and various green veggies to elevate them above the norm. You can also stir some in to a guacamole or a mac n’ cheese if you’re feeling adventurous.
