Spiced Garlic Pickle is yet another GingerBeard’s product that scooped a gold in the Taste of the West Awards. This rich, aromatic pickle uses No Rest For Dancers in the recipe – a red ale from Lost & Grounded Brewers. It brings a delicious, malty flavour and, with a touch of spice, makes it a seriously moreish condiment!
Spiced Garlic Pickle is well at home alongside Indian foods. Try with samosas, bhajis or poppadoms for loads of extra flavour. You could even add some to a curry to bring even more depth of flavour. This pickle would also go well with something as simple as cheese on toast too – just experiment with it! Of course, you can serve this with a cheese board too, just don’t expect it to last long!
GingerBeard’s Preserves was started in a small basement flat in Bristol in 2014, making delicious preserves and sauces. Today, everything is still hand made and at 200,000 units a year, they’re pretty busy! They produce their take on classics, their own unique concoctions and also collaborate with many top food producers. Their list of products is impressive, as is the amount of awards they have won, and we’re really happy to be able to offer their foods to our customers! Only natural ingredients here – there are no artificial preservatives or additives in their products. As well as Cinder Toffee Mustard BBQ Sauce, we also have Lime Pickle, Mango Chutney, Moroccan Spiced Apple Chutney and more from the GingerBeard’s range.
