Gold Dust is a fantastic blend of sea salt and fatalli chilli that you can use to season any dish. The fatalli chili is not as famous as some other chillies, so in case you didn’t know it is a Capsicum chinense variety that comes from Southern or Central Africa. The flavour is citrusy with a heat level close to a habanero – so pretty hot! These peppers blend with the salt before going through a process of dehydration and packing. What you get is a superb seasoning with a great flavour and scent and a gorgeous colour!
Gold Dust is great for adding flavour and heat to your food. It comes in at 3/5 for heat, so is great for many people to use. It is perfect for seasoning steaks or chops before barbecuing (or anything else grill bound!). Season any food with it, including slow cook foods, soups, chips and other potato dishes, fish or even pizza. There’s no limit to what you can use it with! Just be sure to try a little first to get an idea of heat levels.
