Red Buffalo Sriracha is a fantastic sauce that takes the flavours and cooking techniques from both buffalo and sriracha sauces. The result is a delicious and highly versatile sauce that we can’t get enough of! The jalapeno chillies and garlic go through a process of fermentation to get the distinctive flavours and cold press rapeseed oil adds the creaminess that buffalo is famous for. Many buffalo sauces use vinegar to bring the tanginess, but that’s not the case here. The tang comes from the fermenting, a classic sriracha technique, meaning it doesn’t rely on vinegar so much and the flavour is more complex.

Red Buffalo Sriracha is, of course, perfect for chicken wings or any other piece of chicken for that matter. If you love a buffalo sauce, this is a great take on it and offers something a little different. Use is to dress a salad or as a sauce in wrap or sandwich or even as a dip for your chips. At 3/5 on the heat scale, it has enough heat to give some punch, but it won’t strip your palate!

By then, Rikki could not keep up with demand so he started making sauces out of a rented kitchen in Brislington. Today, he has his own purpose built kitchen and is going from strength to strength, making awesome sauces and even offering sauce making classes.
