Tajin Seasoning is a very popular product in Mexico and is great for adding lots of flavour to anything you use it with. It is a blend of mild chilli pepper, lime and sea salt that will bring a fresh, citrus taste and warming chilli heat to your food. Try on some fresh tropical fruit such as pineapple, mango or watermelon or on vegetables like carrots and cucumber. This is a good seasoning for snacks like popcorn, crisps and nuts, or for avocado toast. With just a sprinkle, you can instantly increase the flavour profile enourmously!

Tajin Seasoning is great for cooking with, too. Use as a marinade for meat and seafood to give it a taste of Mexico. It goes very well with chicken or shrimp, however you want to cook them! There are lots of recipes online that use Tajin. Some incorporate it into fajitas, tacos and enchiladas – pretty much any Mexican or Tex-Mex food will get a lift from it! It is also popular for use in cocktails, adding an extra flavour by coating the rim of the glass. Simply run a wedge of lime round the edge and dip it in to the seasoning. We’re sure there is lots more you can use it with too, if you love the flavours!

The heat from chillies is a subjective thing we find; what some may find too hot, others might find tame. Therefore, you should go easy on chillies, chilli powders and sauces with chilli in them to find the heat level you like. Best not pour it all over your food before testing the heat!
