Fish Seasoning will add a delicious flavour to your fish dishes and many more besides. It is a blend of Sea Salt, Garlic Granules, Onion Granules, Black Pepper, Ground Lemon Peel, Parsley, Dill, Celery, Demerara Sugar and Citric Acid. These all combine to add a wonderful flavour with some sharpness to cut through fish oils. It is perfect for use with salmon, monkfish, sea bass and in fish pies, but if you like the flavours, you can use it wherever you want.
Fish Seasoning has a herby, zingy flavour that would go very well with a range of other foods. Use it to add interest to sauces, mix some with Panko Breadcrumbs or batters before cooking, or mix it into burger recipes. This blend does contain a little sugar, so make sure it will sit well with whatever you put with it! As a general rule, two heaped teaspoons should be enough seasoning for 4 people.
As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out again can be impossible!
