Harissa Spice Blend is a mix of ingredients that will take a lot of the work out of making your own harissa. It is a blend of Garlic Granules, Mint, Caraway, Cayenne, Coriander, Cumin, Chillies and Sea Salt. When using a recipe for harissa, just swap out the spices it says to use with this mix and continue. It will make it spicy, hot and delicious, perfect for use with many foods.
Harissa Spice Blend is also a great mix for making marinades and rubs to get the flavours into other dishes. It will work with meat, fish and all kinds of vegetables, as well as grains such as rice and cous cous. Stir it into yoghurt or other sauces to add a fiery hot kick.
As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out again can be impossible!
