Garlic Pepper takes two kitchen essentials and combines them in one blend. There are so many recipes out there that call for Garlic and Pepper, so having them together is very handy! The garlic is ground to be fairly course in grain size to match the pepper, meaning a more even mix and less separation. This blend uses Tellicherry Black Pepper for a more complex, deep flavour.
As you might imagine, the uses for Garlic Pepper are many – simply swap it for normal pepper anywhere you would use it. That could be for anything in the kitchen or on the dining table; wherever you want a hit of pepper and a delicious garlic flavour. It works very well in marinades, seasonings and rubs, for flavouring breadcrumbs and other coatings, or sprinkled over a steak. For garlic overload, we also have Garlic Salt too, but using it with Garlic Pepper might be a bit much!
As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out again can be impossible!
