Mexican Al Pastor Seasoning allows you to create one of the most beloved dishes in Mexico. This blend is actually from Mexico, so you can’t get more authentic than that! It is a mix of Guajillo Chilli Powder, Sea Salt, Onion Powder, Black Pepper, Sesame Seeds, Ground Potato Starch, Guajillo Oleoresin, Spices (and silicon dioxide as an anti caking agent). The chillies are sweet and only mildly spicy, making it perfect for family meals if someone doesn’t like chilli heat.
Sprinkle Mexican Al Pastor Seasoning over beef, pork or chicken and marinate for a few hours (or overnight if possible). Fry or grill the meat and serve immediately with warm tortillas and your favourite toppings – onions, coriander and lime for example. As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out can be impossible!
