Mexican Pibil Seasoning is a great blend that will bring an authentic taste of Mexico to your kitchen. It is actually made in Mexico using the most traditional ingredients to really give you that awesome flavour of the Yucatan. The blend consists of achiote (annatto) powder, sea salt, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, sesame seeds, potato starch, spices and silicone dioxide as anticaking agent. The annatto is the star here, being a classic of Mexican cuisine that adds both flavour and colour. There is some chilli heat to the blend which brings a nice warmth to your Pibil dishes.
Season your chosen meat with Mexican Pibil Seasoning and leave to marinate for a few hours (overnight if possible). When you cook it, use in pibil dishes or any fajita type foods. If you love the flavours, you can also use the seasoning for much more.
As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out can be impossible!
