Mushu – Naga Szechuan Hot Sauce 150ml

Mushu is a seasonal hot sauce from Balefire that generally only becomes available at one time of year. It is rich in umami flavours from the soy sauce and tomatoes and a the naga chillies add a big kick of spicy heat. The Szechuan peppercorns bring their characteristic mouth watering, zingy flavour and the unusual tongue numbing action. Being made with naga chillies means this sauce is very hot – treat it with care!

Mushu takes inspiration from Eastern cuisine and ingredients, so it will pair nicely with foods from that region. If you’re looking for something unique to add some flavour and fire to these foods, this might be it! It is also great as a general sauce for whatever you want to dunk in it!
