Sakura – Sweet Teriyaki Sauce with Miso – 160ml

Sakura takes inspiration from the dishes of Japan to bring you a sweet and delicious teriyaki sauce. This is not a chilli sauce, but what it lacks in spicy heat it easily makes up for in flavour! The umami hit from soy and miso pair perfectly with the sweetness of maple. White wine and garlic dance in the background, making this multi faceted and highly accomplished sauce. Sakura is, as you might imagine, perfect for use with Japanese dishes including sushi and noodles. It would also go well with other Asian dishes from China, Thailand and more. Dunking spring rolls or chicken balls in it is a joy! You could even use it in a sandwich if you want to… why not?!
