Salted Honey Butter – Just the name itself is delicious! If you’re a fan of honey, then this is a must try! With little more in the ingredients than what is in the name, this really is more than the sum of its parts. Use it anywhere you’d usually use honey, either as a substitute for sugar, a glaze or adding flavour to beverages. Smoothies and the like benefit from extra flavour from a dollop of Salted Honey Butter.
Its seems sometimes the most simple of things are the best, though. Spread on toast or crumpets is divine. Of course, you get to lick the spoon too! Something to be aware of is that there are no preservatives or other shelf life prolonging additives. Once open, you need to keep it in the fridge and use within a week. While this may seem short, we’re sure that a small family could get through it easily in that time (or a single person if they’re being indulgent!).
Halen Mon produce their sea salt in Anglesey, Wales using hand harvesting techniques. From a salt discovered in a saucepan left to boil dry, it is now one of the worlds most premium salts. It was on the table at the London 2012 Olympics and is part of the menu at the Fat Duck restaurant. Other Halen Mon products we have are Salted Caramel Spread and Campfire Salted Caramel.
