Tomato, Olive & Basil Salt just sounds Mediterranean, with the four ingredients being in use extensively across the region. It is a perfect blend for use in the kitchen, enhancing the flavours beyond what salt alone can do. Great for use in a spice grinder so it’s always ready to go either when you are cooking, or on the table when eating.
You can use Tomato, Olive & Basil Salt to replace regular salt anywhere you want if you think the flavours would go. Make up your own rubs and marinades, grind some into batters and breadcrumbs, or pretty much any salad or pasta dish. It goes very well with pulses and grains such as quinoa and couscous too. As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out again can be impossible!
