Cherry Balsamic Vinegar is a real work of love from the guys at Balefire. Each batch takes several months to produce and they give it the time it needs to reach the best quality. They brew from malted grain, ferment into beer then acetify into vinegar. The end result is a thick, sweet glaze that has an incredible depth with layers and layers of flavour.

Cherry Balsamic Vinegar is perfect as a finish to a dish; with a quick drizzle, you’ll add loads of flavour! Great with a salad or as an addition to a stew, soup or pie filling. Balefire is an artisan condiment producer in County Durham, run by twin brothers Pete and Jim. They combine historic and modern techniques to produce their own unique vinegars and they ferment their own chillies for several weeks.
