Habanero, Strawberry & Lemon Verbena Hot Sauce

Habanero, Strawberry & Lemon Verbena is a deliciously sweet and fruity sauce that is one of the seasonal sauces from DevilDog. The reason being is they use strawberries from Kenyon Hall farm, harvested at the very peak of ripeness and sweetness. Pairing them with habanero adds a hot spiciness that pushes the sauce somewhere into chilli jam territory. The lemon verbena adds a fragrant herby flavour that brings extra depth to it and black garlic adds some umami. Another genius concoction that, if you love a sweet sauce, you need to try! DevilDog rate it as “Hot”, so be sure to try it before pouring over everything!

Habanero, Strawberry & Lemon Verbena hot sauce is just perfect for the summer months. Bring it out at a barbecue with family or friends and try it with anything that comes off the grill. Use it much like a chilli jam, either as a sweet sauce in a burger or as a dip for crudités, halloumi sticks or whatever else. This could very well be the ultimate partner for goats cheese!
