Using Mixed Herbs takes a lot of the work out of cooking as this one blend is great for adding flavour to a huge amount of dishes. It is an aromatic blend of Basil, Oregano, Parsley, Thyme and Sage. It is perfect for marinades, soups, stews, casseroles and gravies, flavouring meat and vegetables or even baking into savoury breads and crackers.
Mixed Herbs is a decent substitute for other herb blends, like Italian Herb Seasoning and Herbes de Provence if you have run out. Stir into Bolognese or ragus to add a wonderful fragrance and flavour. There are so many uses for this handy blend, the only real limit is what you can think of to do with it! Liven up almost any meal with these herbs, adding a delicious flavour to proteins, grains and more.
As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out again can be impossible!
