Bouquet Garni (Cut) is a blend of herbs that bring a wonderful flavour to dishes. Traditionally, a bouquet garni is a bunch of whole, uncut herbs, tied together and dropped into pot. This would infuse flavours throughout the food, before being fished out and discarded before serving. This is a great way to cook, but finding all of the herbs and tying them all together can be a bit of a pain. That’s where this cut version comes in!
Bouquet Garni has all the flavours you would expect, but you add and leave it in the dish, much like any other herb. With flavours of Rosemary, Bay, Thyme, Parsley, Turkish Oregano and Marjoram, this will add a complex, herby taste to your foods. This is ideal for soups, stews, casseroles and any other low and slow dish you can think of.
As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out again can be impossible!
