Hungarian Hot Paprika comes from the dry, ground pods of several species of Capsicum annuum. Hungary produces what many consider to be the best paprika in the world, the home of which is Szeged. This region has perfect conditions to grow amazing peppers and is where this paprika comes from. It has a spicy flavour, a fragrant aroma and will compliment a great many dishes.
Hungarian Hot Paprika is, of course perfect for Hungarian dishes such as goulash soup and paprika potatoes. This versatile spice can be used on much more, though, from roast meats to baked potatoes. Everything about this spice will enhance your food – the flavour, the scent and the colour! Other paprikas we have include Hungarian Noble Sweet, Hungarian Sweet Smoked, Spanish Sweet, Hot Oak Smoked and more. PLEASE NOTE – We may not always be able to source this product, but we’ll always do what we can to keep it in stock.
As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out again can be impossible!
