Paprika comes from the dry, ground fruits of the Capsicum Annum Plant, and is one of a few kinds of Paprika available. It is a very popular spice throughout the world, bringing an earthy, sweet peppery taste to dishes. You can use it for flavouring a huge number of foods including vegetables, shellfish, soups, meat, eggs, potatoes and much more. It is also great in paellas, goulash, soups, made into batters for deep frying, marinades, sauces and so much more.
Paprika will also add a dash of colour to food if you sprinkle it on after cooking. This works very well with roast chicken, potato wedges rice and vegetables. Other Paprikas we have are Spanish Sweet, Hot Oak Smoked Paprika, Smoked Paprika and Hot Paprika – all delicious!
