Montreal Meat Seasoning takes inspiration from some of the awesome steak houses you’ll find in the eponymous city. It is a blend of Black Pepper, Garlic Granules, Coriander, Dill Seeds and Smoked Paprika. Don’t let the short list fool you – this is a powerhouse of flavours! Pepper and garlic are often a part of steak seasonings, but the coriander and dill bring a unique touch that is very welcome!
Montreal Meat Seasoning is, of course, perfect for a steak – however you cook it. You can also use it on other cuts of red meat or even chicken if you love the flavours. You could try it on vegetables too if you fancy it (or that’s your dietary preference – no reason for vegetarians to miss out!). PLEASE NOTE – This blend has no salt in it, so you can add as little or as much as you want. We recommend adding at least some to really bring out and enhance the flavours of the spices.
As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out again can be impossible!
