Salmon Seasoning brings all kinds of herbs and spices that pair perfectly with, not only salmon, but many kinds of fish! It is a blend of Sesame Seeds, Dill Seeds, Black Pepper, Green Pepper, White Pepper, Garlic, Lemon Peel, Mustard, Onion, Caraway, Rosemary and Dill. These strong and sharp flavours cut through the oily fish balancing with it perfectly.
There a couple of ways you can use Salmon Seasoning with your fish. The first is to simply rub the seasoning into the salmon filet before cooking. Do this in advance for more flavour and sprinkle with some salt to enhance flavours even more. Secondly, you can use it to make a sauce for the fish. Whether you knock up a quick sauce with cream and onions or take time to make a full roux, the seasoning will add plenty of great flavours! PLEASE NOTE – This blend has no salt in it, so you can add as little or as much as you want. We recommend adding at least some to really bring out and enhance the flavours of the spices.
As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out again can be impossible!
