Oak Smoked Fine Sea Salt is a great ingredient to have in the kitchen. You can use it as a replacement for regular fine salt for adding a little extra smokiness while you season dishes. Oak smoke gives a wonderfully savoury flavour to the salt, but it’s not overpowering. This is a subtle smokiness that will gently enhance the dish, not change the flavours completely. Pour some into salt shaker or just grab a pinch from the pack.
Oak Smoked Fine Sea Salt is perfect for both cooking with or using as a table seasoning. Add to any dish you want, seasoning it as normal, or combine with other ingredients to create your own rubs and marinades. On the dining table, simply use as you would regular salt. Use on chips, roast potatoes, meats, vegetables, fish – the uses are endless!
Alternative salts we have are Coarse Sea Salt, Pink Himalayan Salt, Chilli Salt, Sage & Onion Salt and Tomato, Olive & Basil Salt, to name a few.
As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out again can be impossible!
