Nacho Cheese Seasoning is a quick and easy way to add a wonderful cheesy flavour to anything you want. Of course, it works brilliantly with tortilla chips and crisps, but you can sprinkle some over chips and wedges too. We find it goes nicely with popcorn, but we’re sure it’ll go with other snacks, too. Why not experiment with Nacho Cheese Seasoning and try it in your cooking. Maybe season some chicken or vegetables before cooking for a cheesy treat!
Nacho Cheese Seasoning is also useful for making up a nacho cheese sauce. Take 40g of seasoning, 40g of salted butter, 20g plain flour and 400ml semi skimmed milk. Add the seasoning to the milk and stir until it has dissolved. Melt the butter in a pan and add the flour and cook for a minute or two. Take off the heat, add a third of the milk mix, and return to the heat, stirring until the milk is absorbed. Repeat the process, stirring all the time and letting the sauce become thick and shiny before adding more milk. When all the milk mix is in the pan, simmer gently for a couple of minutes, before seasoning with salt and pepper and serving.
