Sweet Chilli & Lime Seasoning is a blend of ingredients that give food a citrusy twang and sweet heat. It is a mix of Sugar, Chilli Granules (Seedless), Rice Flour, Paprika, Tomato Powder, Sea Salt, Lime Juice Powder, Modified Maize Starch, Chilli Powder, Lemon Juice Powder, Ground Stem Ginger, Ground Cinnamon, Garlic Powder, Beetroot Powder, Citric Acid, Onion Powder. This is a great blend for sprinkling on food either before or after cooking – both can work well. It works nicely with chicken and fish, but use it how you like!
Add a sweet, zingy flavour that works well with chicken and other poultry, but you could try on whatever you want. Sweet Chilli & Lime Seasoning works in a rice salad, in dressings and sauces, in batters or in dips. The sweetness also goes well with fish – just marinade for as long as you can and cook as normal!
The heat from chillies is a subjective thing we find; what some may find too hot, others might find tame. Therefore, you should go easy on chillies, chilli powders and blends with chilli powders in them to find the heat level you like. If you are tasting as you go, you can always add a little more if you need to, but taking heat out is difficult if not impossible.
