Barbeque Spice Blend is a perfect seasoning for cooking over hot coals (or gas!). It consists of Sea Salt, Paprika, Cumin, Chilli Powder, Allspice, Rosemary, Ginger, Black Pepper, Garlic, Mustard and Onion. It makes flavouring food with a barbeque twist much easier than using all the component parts, saving you alot of time and hassle.

Barbeque Spice Blend is great as a dry rub for meats and fish, or you can make it into a marinade. It also makes oils and yogurt dressings more interesting, giving everything that summery, outdoor cooking vibe. Of course, if you love the flavours, you can use it all year, sprinkled onto potato wedges or corn, or with sauces to add a bit of zing. It really is a versatile blend and well worth experimenting with.

The heat from chillies is a subjective thing we find; what some may find too hot, others might find tame. Therefore, you should go easy on chillies, chilli powders and blends with chilli powders in them to find the heat level you like. If you are tasting as you go, you can always add a little more if you need to, but taking heat out is difficult if not impossible.
