Chip Shop Curry Sauce Mix lets you make this famously British sauce that so many of us love! Fish and chips is a very popular dish throughout the UK, with many of us having a “chippie tea” more often than other takeaways. But have you ever tried to make the curry sauce at home? It’s hard because the ingredients list is complex and probably way too much messing about to do indoors. Luckily, we now have a powder mix that you can combine with water and instantly have a delicious, and accurate Chip Shop Curry Sauce!
First and foremost, this was just made for chips! It really is a perfect match, but you don’t have to limit it to just that. Pour over a jacket potato, use it with sausages or anything else you want to dip into it. Making the sauce at home is very easy, too! Simply add 25g of mix per 150ml of water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes or so and serve. We recommend starting with slightly less water to make a thicker sauce, then adding more boiling water to adjust to your liking.
