Far East Curry Powder – No Salt

Far East Curry Powder is a blend of herbs and spices that go very well in many Japanese dishes. It is a combination of Turmeric, Mustard, Cumin, Coriander, Fenugreek, Fennel, Ginger, Cardamom, Chilli, Black Pepper, Clove, Nutmeg, Cinnamon. A pretty complex list of ingredients gives a lot of layers of flavour and aroma.

As well as being great for Japanese curries, rice and noodle dishes, there is so much more you can do with it. Add some to beef mince when making burgers for an aromatic twist or add to sauces and slow cook recipes such as stews and soups to take them in a different direction! We also have Caribbean Curry Powder, Malaysian Curry Powder and Kashmiri Curry Powder among many others, should you want an alternative. PLEASE NOTE – This blend has no salt in it, so you can add as little or as much as you want. We recommend adding a little to really bring out and enhance the flavours of the spices.

As with all herbs and spices, add a little at a time to get the flavour you want. You can always add more, but taking it out again can be impossible!
